Description

For stability and steerability of the vehicle: Bosch wheel-speed sensors detect the rotational speed of wheels using a non-contacting measurement principle. The electric output signals of the sensors are transmitted via cable to the following control units: antilock braking system (ABS), traction control system (TCS), electronic stability program (ESP). The control units adjust the brake force for each wheel individually to prevent lock-up or spinning.
